ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Academic Year

PIBM follows the Calendar of July to June as its academic year with slight modifications as may be necessary on year-to-year basis. Detailed schedules for each Semester are provided at the beginning of the term.

Eligibility

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any discipline under 10 + 2 + 3 system from a recognized University. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10 + 2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible, provided they complete all formalities of their examination before June and furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by 30th September.

  • Online application can be accessed through www.pibmbhilwara.com
  • 2. Group Discussions and Interview : Group Discussions and Personal Interviews are integral components of the admission process. The overall objective is to identify and assess the candidate’s communication ability, in addition to the overall knowledge of the student.
  • In addition to Bhilwara, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews are also conducted at Delhi. Candidates should indicate their preferred center for interview in the application form.
  • If a candidate’s preferred center is not available, the candidate will be informed of the change. PIBM reserves the right to change any of the centers for the selection process.
  • 3. Admission Offer : Final selection will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicant’s academic record, work experience (if any), Group Discussions and Personal Interview.
  • CAT/MAT/CMAT/RMAT/ATMA score will not be used in the final selection process but will be used only for short listing for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection offer, failing which the offer will be withdrawn.

PEDAGOGY

PIBM learning model shall involve a vibrant environment wherein there would be encouragement of individual participation and group activity. The students and faculty through formal and informal feedback would continuously improve the learning processes. Emphasis would be on two way teaching-learning processes by making the whole class participative.

An Act to provide for the establishment of an All India Council for Technical Education with a view to the proper planning and co-ordinated development of the technical education system throughout the country, the promotion of qualitative improvements of such education in relation to planned quantitative growth and the regulation and proper maintenance of norms and standards in the technical education system and for matters connected therewith.
